What is Safety Trip Plan?
Safety Trip Plan is a service where you enter all the details of any trip you are taking,
along with the leaving time, arrival at destination time and a time when you should be
considered overdue. When you reach your destination you must check in and cancel your trip,
or you will be considered overdue. Our computer alerts the search center immediately and
they start trying to contact you…if not found they then contact the proper authorities.

Safety Trip Plan also stores your medical information for emergency first responders.
Safety trip plan also has advance vessel alert for boaters traveling to other countries. See

How much does it cost?
$45.00 annually, plus a $7.50 one-time activation fee at time of joining. Paid in the
currency of the country of residence.
Does it have to be renewed?
Yes, annually.
Who does it cover?
Safety Trip plan is a family plan covering all family members living at the same address,
using the same phone number and named in the plan. It also covers any vehicles, vessels and
equipment you list on the plan.
Is it available everywhere?
Yes, SafetyTrip Plan is an international service.
Where is your search center?
We have several search centers located around the world.
Where do I register?
Online at our website or by telephone with one of our premium telephone service providers.
Do you have support for registration?
Yes, just email support@trip-plan.org if your
question is a technical one regarding the web site, or safe@trip-plan.org for all other inquiries. In the
case of technical questions, be sure to copy any error message you may have encountered.
This helps our techs to rectify the problem immediately. You will be answered within 24
hours or less.
Why would I need this service?
Your cell phone could be out of range or have a dead battery.
Your GPS may not be turned on or have a clear view of the sky.
